What are you doing with your life?

Woah. That is a loaded question. If you ask... my response will be a combination of the following:

look around the room for an escape
gaping mouth 
a series of ums and uhs
scramble for topic changes
change topic to: cats, spoons, cereal, superheroes
awkwardly fidget with my hands
bite my fingernails
scoff


and then maybe I'll answer.

What am I doing with my life? I have NO idea.

I mean, I know what I'm doing with myself right now.. learning..well, maybe not. I'm a student. I'm a barista. I'm a writer. But with my whole life? I have nothing legitimately planned out. I just don't. I want to study books, and literature, and poems. I want to read and write and live my life creatively. BUT as for a plan. NOPE.

It's just one of those questions college students (like me) don't like. WHAT ARE YOUR LIFE PLANS...READY SET GO.

Because lets be real.. plans change. Majors change. Life changes. I don't know what I'm doing, because if I focus more on a plan than adapting to the changes.. I'm going to fail.
