I have never been one for quizzes. I'm pretty terrible at them. I can do all the reading, work really hard on figuring out each poem or story, but the second you ask me what I remember on paper.. I just go blank.
Survey of Brit Lit 2 requires a quiz in each section meeting, and mine have been solid 5's with a few 7's or 8's. Trust me, it's been one of those things that makes my "these are the reasons I should be failing school" list.
Last week we were asked a question about the Wasteland, and it went along the lines of.. "tell me one thing that sticks out in your memory about The Wasteland."
My answer: Honestly, nothing sticks out about the Wasteland. It was long and it all kind of ran together for me. I know that means I have to reread it before the final. But right now.. nothing. Nothing sticks out.
Score? Full points.
He said "Honesty points" under the score.
Solid.
